Comic Book Hammer Heroine Bust Resin Garage Kit – Two Heads, Two Hammers, Short Cape & Knotwork Pedestal (Unpainted, 10 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 10 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art bust of the hammer-wielding heroine from a famous comic book universe. She is shown from the waist up, one arm raised straight overhead with her hammer and the other fist clenched at her shoulder. A short cape rises behind the raised arm and her long hair blows back from the winged helmet. She wears the dark steel breastplate with its engraved collar, a round shoulder guard and engraved bracers. The bust stands on a round pedestal: a pitted stone drum on a stepped foot with a band of Celtic knotwork.
Both heads and both hammers are in the box: the winged helmet or her bare head, and the plain hammer or the ring of hammer heads that looks like the hammer spinning. Swap them as you like. This listing is the bust; the full figure on its storm cloud base is sold as a separate listing.
What's in the kit
- 10 resin pieces in total.
- Bust, 10 pieces: the helmeted head and the bare head, bust torso, two arms, a shorter cape, the plain hammer with its hand, the spinning hammer ring and the hand that grips it, and the round pedestal. Both heads and both hammers are in the box; the spinning hammer isn't shown on the bust in the photo.
- Tallest single piece: the cape, 119.6 mm (4.71 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height for the bust, so I don't list one.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The raised arm holds the hammer high over the head. Pin the hammer into the hand and the arm into the shoulder; the round pedestal is the counterweight.
- The cape is a thin cupped sheet that rises behind the raised arm. Pin it to the back of the torso.
- Both heads and both hammers are in the box. Pin the head and the hammer hand without glue if you want to swap them.
- The hair strands and the helmet wings are thin and delicate.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
