IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the hammer-wielding heroine from a famous comic book universe. She stands wide-legged in a bank of swirling cloud, one arm straight up with her hammer overhead and the other fist clenched at her shoulder. Her red cape sweeps up behind the raised arm and her blonde hair blows the other way. She wears a dark steel breastplate with an engraved collar, a studded leather belt over ragged rust-brown skirt panels, quilted leggings with shin wraps, and boots with small winged ankle guards. The base is a dark faceted plinth with three glowing panels and Celtic knotwork, with jagged rock and thick carved cloud rising around her boots.

Both heads and both hammers are in the box, so you can build her either way and swap them as you like: the winged silver helmet or her bare head, and a ring of hammer heads that looks like the hammer spinning or the plain hammer. This listing is the full figure on its cloud base. The smaller bust version is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 18 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 11 pieces: torso, the legs in a single piece, the skirt with the studded belt, the cape, two arms, the winged helmeted head, the bare head, the spinning hammer ring and the hand that grips it, and the plain hammer with the hand that holds it. Both heads and both hammers are in the box; swap them as you like.
  • Base, 7 pieces: the plinth in four sections and the cloud in three sections.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 196.9 mm (7.75 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands much taller once the torso, head and cloud base are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The plinth comes in four sections with glowing panels across the front. Dry-fit, glue and fill those seams before the cloud goes on.
  • The whole figure stands on two boots sunk into the cloud. Pin both boots into the base, and dry-fit to work out whether she goes on before the cloud piece around her boots.
  • The spinning hammer ring is large and heavy and held high on a small hand. Pin the ring into the hand, the hand into the arm and the arm into the shoulder. Both hammers and both heads are in the box; pin the hammer hand and the head without glue if you want to swap them.
  • The cape is a big thin sheet that rises off the shoulders, so pin it. The hair strands, helmet wings and ankle wings are thin and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
