IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

The studio's own original character, not a licensed one: a girl with a chin-length bob and a single pointed strand standing up off her crown, slouched on the top edge of a broken concrete wall. One sneaker is planted on the wall top with that knee pulled up, the other leg hangs down the face of the wall, and her hands hang loose between her knees with the sleeves pulled over her wrists. She looks off to one side with a flat, unimpressed face, a small bandage on one cheek and a thin stick at the corner of her mouth. She wears a hooded zip jacket with a patch on one sleeve, a chest harness with three square buckle boxes, loose shorts with a stack of pouches on a hip strap, slouched socks and high-top sneakers with straps across the instep. On her back, the harness carries a mechanical wing rig: two jointed arms, each ending in a round hub with a fan of long angular blades and boxy thrusters. A scoped rifle leans across the wall top behind her. The wall is cracked and pocked with impact marks, with exposed brick on one broken edge, rebar sticking out, riveted metal plates patched on the back, a plank barricade, a loose block, rubble and spray cans at its foot. In the studio's color design the jacket is purple with salmon-pink trim, the hair is mint-white and the wings are off-white over a gunmetal frame.

This listing is the full-size statue, 167 mm tall on the studio's scale sheet. The miniature is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 18 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 11 pieces: head, front bangs, jacket torso with the harness, shorts, two arms, two legs, the hip strap with pouches, and the two mechanical wings.
  • Base, 6 pieces: the concrete wall, two front ground pieces (the rubble with spray cans and the plank barricade), the rubble strip along the back, the rebar cross and the spray can on top of the wall.
  • Rifle, 1 piece.
  • Full size: 167 mm (6.57 in) tall, 102 mm (4.02 in) wide and 152 mm (5.98 in) long (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The two wings reach out well past the wall from a mount on her back. Pin both wings on the full-size kit.
  • The arms meet the jacket on a smooth surface at the shoulders. Plan to fill and sand those seams.
  • The hip strap is an open ring that wraps the shorts, and the rifle leans behind her and touches the wing arm, so fit both after she is seated on the wall.
  • Thin parts: the wing blades, the rebar cross, the rifle's scope and stock, the spray can and the hair strands.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
