Original Skeletal Angel Resin Garage Kit – Black Feathered Wings, Spiked Halo, Rune Circles & Skull Rock Base (Unpainted, 37 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 37 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
An original dark-fantasy statue designed by the studio: a skeletal angel with a living face. She stands upright on a mound of broken stones, her weight even on both bone feet, her skeletal arms hanging at her sides with long clawed fingers spread, and her head turned a little to one side with her eyes looking down. The face is pale and anime-styled, with one teal eye showing under swept bangs, a dark winged eyeliner line, a pointed ear with a teal drop earring and long pale blonde hair, and a spiked halo ring floats above her head. Below the neck she is bone: an open ribcage and spine, the pelvis, and long skeletal legs. She wears a near-black hood and shoulder mantle with a teal lining and gold piping, closed at the throat with a gold clasp and hung with small crystal charms on short chains, and a draped skirt open at the front, black at the hip and turning to a translucent cyan wash at the hem, with a gold diamond ornament on each hip. Two large black feathered wings spread up and out behind her. The base is a round dark plinth under a mound of fractured stones with four skulls along the front, six tongues of cyan flame, a sword planted point-down in the stones, and two translucent cyan rune-circle arcs with bladed tips that cross behind her.
What's in the kit
- 37 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 10 pieces: head, front hair, back hair, a side hair lock, the spiked halo, the ribcage torso, two arms and two legs.
- Wings, 2 pieces.
- Cloth, 10 pieces: the hood, the shoulder mantle, four hanging charms, the skirt in two panels and the two hip ornaments.
- Base, 15 pieces: the round plinth, the stone mound, the two rune-circle arcs, the sword, four skulls and six flames.
- Tallest single piece: one rune-circle arc, 218.7 mm (8.61 in) in the sculptor's file. The tallest figure piece is a leg, 163.4 mm (6.43 in). The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Round plinth: 152.3 × 152.3 mm (6.00 × 6.00 in) across in the sculptor's file.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The hood, mantle and both large wings all sit on a thin bone torso and two skeletal legs. Pin the legs into the stones, the torso onto the legs and each wing into the back.
- The base is 15 pieces. Dry-fit the two rune-circle arcs against the first photo before gluing; they cross behind the figure and their bladed tips have to land where the photos show.
- The halo, rune circles, flames and the lower skirt are clear cyan effects in the photos. Paint them with cyan glazes and a gloss coat for that glow.
- Thin, fragile parts: the four hanging charms, the two hip ornaments, the side hair lock, the halo spikes, the ribs and the flame tips. Take them off the supports gently and fit them with tweezers.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
