Sci-Fi Comic Red-Skinned Warrior Resin Garage Kit – Twin Red Energy Blades, Black Tattoos & Industrial Base (Unpainted, 15 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 15 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the red-skinned dark warrior from a sci-fi comic series. She stands in a wide fighting stance with two red energy blades lit, one raised overhead and one pointed at the floor. Her red skin is covered in sharp black tattoos, and two long tattooed tendrils hang from the back of her head down past her waist. She wears dark metal chest cups, riveted gauntlets, a low leather belt with long hanging straps and riveted thigh-high boots. She stands on an octagonal platform of dark, rusted metal with a grated deck, pipes, glowing red light strips and lit canisters at the corners.
What's in the kit
- 15 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 9 pieces: head, torso, hips, two arms, two legs and the two long head tendrils.
- Belt straps, 1 piece: the long hanging straps.
- Energy blades, 2 pieces: the raised blade and the lowered blade.
- Base, 3 pieces: two large base sections and a thin plate.
- Tallest single piece: one leg, 146.4 mm (5.76 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands taller once the other parts and the base are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The two energy blades are long, thin rods. Pin them into the hands and fit them last; the raised blade sticks out past the figure.
- The two head tendrils are long hanging pieces. Pin each one where it meets the head.
- Her arms join at the shoulders on bare skin, so fill and sand those two seams before paint.
- The base is three pieces. Build and align it before the figure goes on, so both boots land on their steps.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
