IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 13 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 13 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 8 pieces: head with the bandana, vest torso, bare left arm, right arm in the steel gauntlet, an alternate spiked gauntlet right arm (not pictured), the boxer shorts and two legs with spiked knee pads.
  • Cat, 2 pieces: the crowned cat and her separate sunglasses.
  • Cape, 2 pieces: the cowl and shoulder mantle, and the long torn lower cape.
  • Base, 1 piece: rock, dirt, grass and the wooden crate.
  • 1:10 scale: 192 mm (7.56 in) tall, 127 × 170 mm (5.00 × 6.69 in) footprint, cape included (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The long lower cape hangs from the shoulder mantle with its torn hem spread out behind him. Hold or prop it while the glue sets, then fill the seam across the back.
  • The figure joins are keyed: neck, shoulders, waist, hips, and a peg under the raised foot into the top of the crate. The hip seams sit on bare thigh at the hem of the boxers, so fill them carefully.
  • The cat's sunglasses are a tiny separate part, and the knee-pad spikes and crown points are thin. Glue the sunglasses on with tweezers.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
