Video Game Blonde Champion with Land-Shark Dragon Resin Garage Kit – Black Fur-Trimmed Coat, Capture Ball & Hexagonal Rock Base (Unpainted, 25 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 25 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the champion from a famous monster-battling game series, with her dragon partner. She stands upright in a long black coat with a feathered collar, fur cuffs and a fur-trimmed hem, over a black V-neck top with two white buttons and a white teardrop pendant, pressed black trousers and black heels. Her very long blonde hair, shading to pink and lavender at the tips, falls over one eye and is clipped high on each side with a black ornament. One hand holds a red and white capture ball at her hip, and the other arm reaches out to rest on the head of the dragon crouched beside her. The dragon is dark blue with a red chest, a yellow star on its snout, open jaws full of teeth, blade-like fins on its arms and a shark-fin tail sweeping out to the side. They share a dark hexagonal plinth topped with rocky ground and small outcrops.
What's in the kit
- 25 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 14 pieces: head, front fringe, main hair, two hair ornaments, upper body, two arms, two hands, legs, two heels and the long coat tails.
- Dragon, 8 pieces: body with head and neck, lower jaw, tongue, two fin-arms, two legs and the tail.
- Base, 1 piece: the hexagonal plinth with rocky ground.
- Accessories, 2 pieces: the capture ball and a small accessory piece.
- Tallest single piece: her legs, 170.9 mm (6.73 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Base: 182.1 × 210.3 mm (7.17 × 8.28 in) across in the sculptor's file.
- The dragon's body is 181.0 mm (7.13 in) long in the sculptor's file.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Build the dragon first, in order: legs to the base, body onto the legs, then the tail and both fin-arms. Pin the tail and the fin-arms; they are heavy and hang out from the body.
- Her outstretched hand rests on the dragon's head, so fix the dragon in place before you set her right arm.
- The coat tails hang from her waist and leave a long seam across the small of her back. Fill and sand it before painting.
- The two hair ornaments, the small accessory piece, the tongue and the heel spikes are tiny or thin.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
