Video Game Blonde Demon Hunter Resin Garage Kit – Giant Crescent Sword, Raised Pistol & Slain Demon Base (Unpainted, 18 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the blonde demon-hunting gunslinger from a famous action video game series, standing on top of a slain demon. One boot is on a cracked concrete slab and the other on the demon's spined hide. One hand holds the grip of a huge crescent sword planted upright at her side, its tip driven into the demon's head at the front of the base, and her other arm is raised and bent over her head, holding a long engraved pistol level behind her. Her platinum-blonde hair is swept straight back and falls past her waist. She wears a strapless leather corset laced down the front with embossed scrollwork, a choker with a small lightning-bolt charm, two low-slung leather belts with eyelets and brass buckles, low-rise leather trousers with filigree down the seams, knee-high heeled boots and leather forearm cuffs. The sword's pale steel blade is overgrown on its inner curve with flesh, bone spikes and eye sockets, under a clawed guard, a twisted grip and a skull pommel. The base is the long armored demon curled around a pile of broken concrete with rebar stubs: its plated head lies at the front with the jaws open, a clawed limb and the tail wrap the sides, and clusters of red pods sit in thorny frills along its flanks.
What's in the kit
- 18 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 7 pieces: the head with the long hair, torso, legs, two boots, the hand with the pistol and the sword hand.
- Sword, 2 pieces: the crescent blade in two sections.
- Base, 9 pieces: six sections of broken concrete and demon, and the demon's body, head and clawed limb.
- Studio size: 457 mm (17.99 in) tall, 216 mm (8.50 in) wide and 285 mm (11.22 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' notes file).
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The demon base is nine heavy parts and most of the resin in the kit. Build and pin it first, then set the figure on it.
- The sword is very long and comes in two sections; its tip goes into the demon's head and her hand holds the grip. Pin the blade join and the tip.
- She stands on two heeled boots on uneven ground. Pin both boots into the base.
- The pistol's small levers, the bone spikes on the blade, the demon's claws and the hair tips are thin.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
