IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 6 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the cat companion from a popular monster-hunting action game, in the middle of a feast. Standing in a bowl of stew, the cat throws one arm high with a roast drumstick almost as big as its head, holds the other paw open behind it and kicks one hind foot forward to show the paw pad, its mouth wide open with two little fangs. It wears a hood with pointed ears and a thick fur ruff around the face, a short fur cape with a zigzag hem, a chest strap set with three diamond gems, a scale-mail tunic and a rope loop at the waist, and its fluffy tail curls up behind. Two food skewers with flared caps rise behind one shoulder. The base is the bowl itself, banded with a diamond lattice and heaped with vegetables and meat, with sauce splashing up both sides and pooling into a puddle underneath.

What's in the kit

  • 6 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 2 pieces: the hooded head, and the body with the arms, legs, cape and tail.
  • Accessories, 3 pieces: the roast drumstick and two food skewers.
  • Base, 1 piece: the stew bowl with the sauce splash and puddle.
  • Studio size: 82.5 mm (3.25 in) tall, 57 × 71 mm (2.24 × 2.80 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The drumstick is held by its bone at the end of the raised arm. Pin that join.
  • The head sits on a neck peg under the fur ruff, which hides the seam.
  • The two skewers and the tips of the sauce splash are thin. Take supports off them carefully.
  • The figure stands in the bowl on the food mound, so that one join carries everything above it. Glue it well.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
