IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 19 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the pale, bald warrior with the red tattoo from a famous video game series set in Greek myth. He crouches low on two levels of broken rock and leans toward you, glaring from under a heavy brow, with a stitched scar through one eyebrow and a black goatee. The red tattoo runs from his crown over one eye and down his side, shoulder and back. He wears a gold shoulder cap and a gold ram-horn plate on his right arm, a gold belt with a Greek key band, a maroon sash, a ring of leather hip straps, gold shin guards and sandals. Behind him a broken fluted column leans against the rock, five arrows stand in the stone, and at the front corner a chest with a glowing red symbol on its lid sits half buried in the rock. Both sets of arms are in the box, so you can swap them as you like: one pair holds curved, glowing red-inlaid blades with beast-head hilts and short chains, with chains and red wraps on his forearms; the other pair ends in two roaring lion-head gauntlets.

What's in the kit

  • 19 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 11 pieces: head, torso, belt with sash and hip straps, two legs, two gold armor plates, two forearms holding the curved, red-inlaid blades, and two lion-head gauntlet arms that swap in for the blade arms.
  • Arrows, 5 pieces: five thin arrows that stand in the stone.
  • Column, 1 piece: the broken fluted column.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the rock base with the half-buried chest.
  • Tallest single piece: the broken column, 103.0 mm (4.06 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • Rock base: 128.5 × 127.5 mm (5.06 × 5.02 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The blades reach far out from his arms and the gauntlets are heavy, and both hang off the ends of the arms. Pin both arms. I print the gauntlets hollow, so fill the small drain holes before priming. To keep both pairs swappable, pin the arms and don't glue them.
  • The whole figure stands on two sandaled feet at different heights on the rock. Pin both feet into the base.
  • The five arrows are very thin and small. Fit them after the figure is on the base, since two stand close behind his legs.
  • The rock base comes in two pieces with a seam through the stone; seat the column against the rock at its lean before gluing.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
