IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 10 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the pampered royal cat from a popular comic-fantasy book series about a deadly dungeon run as a game show. She sits upright in a high-backed throne the way a person would, hind paws stuck out in front with the pads showing, one forepaw on the armrest and the other raised beside her face with the claws out. She is a flat-faced, long-haired cat with the fur sculpted in clumps, wearing a jeweled tiara, round sunglasses, a studded collar with a butterfly charm and a cape that falls from one shoulder over the arm of the throne to the ground, with the tip of her tongue poking out. The throne has a carved scrollwork frame, a tufted back and seat, and a round paw-print medallion under a diamond-shaped crest. Beside her stands a banner on a pole with a crown, a cat face and a paw print in relief, a braided border and a fringed hem, with a small round table holding a goblet and a bowl of kibble, a closed strapped book on the ground and a square cushion with corner tassels in front. Everything sits on an oval of rough cobblestones with a cluster of pointed rock shards.

What's in the kit

  • Figure, 4 pieces: the seated cat with her cape, collar and paws, the head, the round sunglasses and the tiara.
  • Base, 3 pieces: the cobblestone base, the throne and the banner on its pole.
  • Accessories, 3 pieces: the side table with the goblet and the bowl of kibble, the tasseled cushion and the closed book.
  • Studio size: 84 mm (3.31 in) tall, 77 × 83 mm (3.03 × 3.27 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The cat sits in the throne seat and the banner pole drops into a round socket in the base. Dry-fit the throne, banner and table on the cobbles before gluing.
  • The tiara and the sunglasses are the smallest, thinnest parts. Fit them last, with tweezers, so the glasses sit level across the muzzle.
  • The banner fringe, the goblet stem and the claws are thin.
  • The sunglasses have solid lenses: paint them as tinted glass or paint the eyes on them.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
