IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 15 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the fox-eared swordswoman who leads an elite special-operations unit in a stylish urban action game. She stands with her weight on one leg, one hand resting on the hilt of a sheathed sword at her hip and the other arm held slightly out, giving the viewer a sidelong look. Her very long blue-black hair with a blunt fringe and a thin braid streams out behind her, shading to red at the tips, and her dark fox ears have pale inner tufts. She wears a pale grey shirt with a badge on the chest and a loose dark teal tie, a black leather underbust corset with straps and buckles, a short dark pleated wrap skirt, glossy black tights and black stiletto ankle boots, with a deep teal jacket draped over her shoulders and its empty sleeves flaring. The base is a round gunmetal disc with a bolted hexagonal rim and an embossed inner disc.

What's in the kit

  • 15 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 8 pieces: head with face, torso, two legs, left hand, right hand with the sword, main hair and a small hair piece.
  • Cloth, 4 pieces: the jacket, the skirt and the necktie in two pieces.
  • Base, 1 piece: the round bolted disc.
  • Accessories, 2 pieces: the two scabbard tip pieces.
  • Tallest single piece: the right leg, 161.0 mm (6.34 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Round base: 106.3 × 106.3 mm (4.19 × 4.19 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The main hair is a large piece that hangs off the back of the head with no other contact. Pin it.
  • Both legs meet the torso at the hip and the whole figure stands on two stiletto heels. Get both feet flat on the base before the glue sets; the skirt covers the hip join.
  • The jacket is a wide, thin shell with empty flaring sleeves, and the necktie and scabbard tips are very thin.
  • The sword and scabbard come with the right hand and have to line up with where the scabbard passes behind the skirt.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
