IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 11 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art bust of the glasses-wearing gunslinger witch from a stylish action video game, cut off at the waist and set on a tapered post above a round stepped plinth. Her left arm is raised and hooked behind her head, holding a double-barreled pistol flat behind her hair, and her right arm is thrust forward across her front, wrapped in three buckled belts. Her hair rises into a very tall wrapped column banded with chain, two long flat ribbons hang from the back of her head, and a curtain of hair hangs from the raised elbow. She wears thick-rimmed glasses, drop earrings and a high-collared leather-look bodysuit edged with chain, with a large round medallion at the throat. The sculptor's renders of this bust are unpainted gray.

What's in the kit

  • 11 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: torso, head, raised arm, hand with the pistol, and five hair pieces (including the tall wrapped hair and the curtain that hangs from the elbow).
  • Glasses, 1 piece: the thin frames, which fit last.
  • Base, 1 piece: the round stepped plinth with its post.
  • Tallest single piece: a long hair piece, 128.0 mm (5.04 in) in the sculptor's file. The studio's guide for this bust repeats the full statue's dimensions, so I don't list an assembled height.
  • Base: 67.6 × 67.8 mm (2.66 × 2.67 in) across in the sculptor's file.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The raised arm and the pistol hand reach up and out behind the head. Pin the arm at the shoulder and the hand at the wrist.
  • The glasses are the smallest and most fragile part. Fit them last, after paint.
  • The long hair pieces and the hair curtain are thin for their length. Dry-fit them before gluing.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
