Video Game Horned-Helmet Warrior vs Troll Resin Garage Kit – Raised Axe, Round Shield & White-Furred Troll on a Slate Diorama (Unpainted, 1:10 Scale, 18 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art diorama from a famous open-world fantasy role-playing game: its hero in a horned steel helmet stands over a huge white-furred troll and swings his axe down at it. He holds a one-handed war axe straight overhead and pushes a round wooden shield forward, mouth open in a roar under the helmet's nose guard and cheek plates. He wears a sleeveless, stitched leather vest with two straps crossing the chest and a round bronze medallion, a single round steel shoulder plate, leather bracers with fur wraps, a belt with a round buckle over studded leather skirt panels and a shaggy fur kilt, and cord-wrapped leather boots with fur cuffs and trailing straps. The troll lies on its back beneath him with its head thrown back, fanged mouth open, and both arms flung wide, one hand a fist and the other open with the claws spread; long shaggy fur covers its back, head and forearms, and gashes are cut into its chest and arm. The base is a stack of flat, cracked slate under the warrior's feet and the troll's body; the troll's arms reach past it on both sides. This listing is the 1:10 scale diorama in 18 pieces. The miniature and the bust are sold as separate listings.
What's in the kit
- 18 resin pieces in total.
- Warrior, 9 pieces: helmeted head, torso, front and back hip halves with the studded skirt, upper legs with the fur kilt, two forearms and two lower legs with boots.
- Troll, 5 pieces: head, torso in two halves and two arms.
- Weapons, 2 pieces: the axe and the shield.
- Base, 2 pieces: the slate base in two sections.
- 1:10 scale: 258 mm (10.16 in) tall, 249 mm (9.80 in) wide and 195 mm (7.68 in) long (from the studio's scale sheet).
- Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Build the slate base first. Its two sections have to line up before anything goes on top, because the warrior and the troll both land on it.
- The troll's two big arms reach out past the base with nothing under them. Pin both at the shoulder.
- The troll's torso comes in two halves and the seam runs across smooth skin, not fur. Plan to fill and sand it.
- Thin parts: the axe haft, the helmet horns, the trailing boot straps and the fur strands along the troll's arms and mane.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
