IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 21 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of a horned, red-haired woman from a naval-warfare mobile game. She stands tall in heeled thigh-high boots on a heap of broken black armor plates, one gloved hand at her hip and the other raised beside her face, looking down at the viewer. Two dark curled horns sit in her hair, and her very long red hair falls in a huge sweeping fan behind her, down past her feet to the base. She wears a black gothic dress with a ruffled high collar, a laced front and a short frilled skirt, garter straps, long black opera gloves and a small bow, with a thin devil tail and a pair of small bat wings at her back. The base is a heap of angular black plates, like the shattered hull of a warship, with a row of glowing red slots on the front.

What's in the kit

  • 21 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 16 pieces: head, front hair, the long back hair, a side lock, two horns, the chest, the waist and skirt, two arms, two legs, the tail, two wings and a small bow.
  • Base, 5 pieces: the black hull-plate heap in five sections.
  • Tallest single piece: the long back hair, 211.8 mm (8.34 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Bottom base section: 93.9 × 148.9 mm (3.70 × 5.86 in) across in the sculptor's file. The hair fans out wider than the base.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The back hair is a single large piece that carries most of the silhouette and runs from the head down to the base. Pin it at the head.
  • The tail, the two wings, the horns and the side lock are thin, freestanding pieces. Pin each one.
  • The base comes in five sections. Dry-fit them before gluing so the boots land on the top plate.
  • The hair tips, the tail and the spread fingers are thin and break easily on removal.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
