Fantasy Game Inventor Resin Garage Kit – Telescope, Red Round Glasses & Glowing Ruin Base (Unpainted, 20 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the white-haired inventor from a famous fantasy adventure game series. She stands square to the viewer with a brass telescope resting over her right shoulder and her left hand raised to the rim of her round red glasses. Her hair is a layered bob with a high bun, wrapped in a gold band with a gold goggle ornament and two red hair sticks. She wears a long cream coat with puffed sleeves and patterned orange lapels, a white blouse with a gold pendant, a gold diamond buckle with a deep red sash, a dark wrap skirt with a large gold pattern panel, red-orange tights and heeled shoes. The base is a two-tier round stone platform with copper eye panels, glowing blue channel patterns, moss, a brick step, a ruined stone arch and pillar behind her, and a copper gear wheel leaning against the steps.
What's in the kit
- 20 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 10 pieces: head, hair in three pieces, torso, two arms, the right hand and two legs.
- Clothing, 4 pieces: the skirt, the belt and the two coat tails.
- Base, 6 pieces: the base in two halves, the ruined wall in three pieces and the gear wheel.
- Tallest single piece: the right leg, 133.2 mm (5.24 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands much taller once the skirt, torso, head and base are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The two legs are long, thin pieces that carry the whole figure. Pin them into the skirt and into the base.
- The two coat tails hang off the torso with nothing under them. Dry-fit them before gluing and fill the seams on the smooth cream coat.
- The base comes in two large halves plus a three-piece ruined wall. Dry-fit the wall on the base before gluing it.
- The glasses rims, hair sticks, gear teeth and the hand are small and delicate. The glowing channels on the base suit a glow paint or a light.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
