Video Game Martial Artist Bust Resin Garage Kit – Raised Gloved Guard, Suspenders & Very Long Hair (Unpainted, 9 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 9 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art bust of the dark-haired martial artist from a classic role-playing game, in her modern look. She is cut just below the waist and set on a faceted post above a round stepped plinth. Both hands are raised to one side in a loose guard with the fingers spread, and she turns her face toward them with a small, calm smile. Long bangs sweep across her forehead, and her very long straight hair falls down her back, swings out past the plinth in a long curve and is bound near the end with a wrapped tie. She wears a cropped tank top with a scoop neck, a ribbed band and a stitched strap under the hem, suspender straps with metal buckles and punched tails, fingerless gloves with riveted plates and knuckle studs, a long riveted guard on one forearm ending in an elbow cap with dome studs, chain bracelets, a stepped wrist cuff and a long drop earring. The studio's renders are unpainted gray.
What's in the kit
- 9 resin pieces in total.
- Bust, 8 pieces: the head with the long hair, two small hair locks, the torso, two forearms and two gloved hands.
- Base, 1 piece: the round stepped plinth with its post.
- Studio size: 1:6 scale, 134 mm (5.28 in) tall, 103 mm (4.06 in) wide and 103 mm (4.06 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The long hair is part of the head and is the biggest piece in the kit. It swings out past the plinth, so dry-fit the bust on the post before gluing.
- Both forearms and hands meet in front of her. Fit the forearms first, then the hands, and pin the forearm joins.
- The two small hair locks, the spread fingers and the earring are thin and fragile.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
