Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 14 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the red-hooded princess from a hand-painted fantasy action game. She leaps above a burst of crystals with her knees drawn up, arms spread and a long chain swinging from each wrist in loose loops, each chain ending in a pink crystal point. Her blonde hair falls from under a red hood studded with small gold stars and edged with a black lace band. She wears a cropped charcoal top with puffed red sleeves and cream ruffles at the hem, a charcoal wrap skirt, dark stockings and black heels, and a long red cape streams out behind her. The base is a dark square plinth with engraved scrollwork, like a heavy closed book, with clear and violet crystal shards bursting out of the top and one tall smoky spire behind her; a clear rod hidden in the scene holds her up.
What's in the kit
- 14 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 8 pieces: head, hair, torso, hips with the skirt, two arms and two legs.
- Cloth, 2 pieces: the hood and the cape.
- Chains, 1 piece: both chains with their crystal points.
- Base, 3 pieces: the square plinth, the crystal burst and the clear support rod.
- Tallest single piece: the clear support rod, 151.8 mm (5.98 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Square plinth: 123.2 × 123.2 mm (4.85 × 4.85 in) across in the sculptor's file. The chains span 216.3 mm (8.52 in) in the sculptor's file, much wider than the base.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The whole figure is held up by a single rod meant to read as clear; the shoes don't touch the crystals. Pin the rod into the plinth and the figure, and paint it as glass.
- The chain is a single long, thin piece of open loops that twists in three directions. It is the most fragile part of the kit.
- The cape is a thin cupped shell with pointed tails, and the hood runs out to a thin tail with a tassel. Watch for suction and thin edges.
- The crystal burst's shards end in sharp points. A glaze and gloss coat give it a glassy look.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
