Video Game Sci-Fi Swordswoman Resin Garage Kit – Green Bodysuit, Giant Sword & Glowing Ring Rock Base (Unpainted, 11 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 11 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the sword-wielding heroine of a sci-fi action video game, in a glossy green and black bodysuit. She stands on one straight leg on a low rock with her other foot up on a taller rock stack, holding a huge layered sword overhead in both hands so it hangs diagonally beside her. Her black hair is cut in a straight fringe and pulled into a long ponytail that streams out behind her with a patterned teal scarf. The suit has a white chest harness, a ruffled white collar, a printed tie and glowing green fittings. The oval base has a band of glowing green tiles around its side under a stack of angular purple-grey rocks.
What's in the kit
- 11 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 7 pieces: head, hair with the ponytail, a small head piece, torso with the raised arms, hips and thighs, and the two lower legs.
- Scarf, 2 pieces: the shoulder drape and scarf tail in two sections.
- Sword, 1 piece: the giant sword.
- Base, 1 piece: the oval base and rock stack as a single part.
- Tallest single piece: the sword, 191.1 mm (7.52 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands taller once the other parts and the base are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Base: 97.9 × 148.6 mm (3.85 × 5.85 in) across in the sculptor's file.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- She balances on one straight leg. Pin the standing foot into the rock and both lower legs into the hips.
- The sword is gripped by both hands at once. Dry-fit it before you glue it, and pin it into the raised hand.
- The two scarf pieces are long, thin sheets. Handle them gently and give each one a pin or a good contact patch.
- The small head piece is tiny and easy to lose, and the leg joins fall on the smooth glossy suit, so fill and sand them with care.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
