IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 25 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the silver-haired biker-gang leader from a popular urban-action video game, caught mid-swing. Her feet are planted wide on a slab of rock, front knee bent, and she twists so the shield on her left forearm crosses in front of her while her right hand holds a sword low at her side. She looks back over her shoulder with a wide grin. Her long ponytail and the empty left sleeve of her jacket fly up behind her. She has a shaggy silver-gray cut with two black angular hair ornaments, a black star clip, a black choker and a spiky black fur collar. She wears a red crop top with chunky gold lettering on a bead chain over a perforated charcoal corset with cross-lacing, a dark leather jacket worn on one arm only, a wide white studded belt with a star-shaped gold buckle, light gray shorts under dark skirt panels, dark thigh-high stockings with red bands, glossy black knee pads, white heeled boots, perforated gloves and a gold gauntlet. The shield is a black tire with raised lettering on the sidewall, ringed with gold spikes and raised gold lettering, with a winged skull in a helmet at the hub. The sword has a glowing channel down the blade and a mechanical hilt. The base is a layered slab of cracked rock with a tall blaze of flame at one end and a low crescent of flame curling around her other boot.

What's in the kit

  • 25 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 13 pieces: head, front hair, back hair, the ponytail, two hair ornaments, torso, left arm, hips, two legs and two boots.
  • Clothing, 4 pieces: the jacket, the fur collar, the studded belt and the belt buckle.
  • Shield and sword, 5 pieces: the shield body, three shield details and the sword.
  • Base, 3 pieces: the rock base and two flames.
  • Rock base: 157.4 × 233.3 mm (6.20 × 9.19 in) across and 45.9 mm (1.81 in) tall in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She stands on two high heels on uneven rock, mid-swing, with the shield and sword held out to the sides. Pin both boots into the base and the legs into the hips.
  • The ponytail and the flung jacket sleeve stick out behind her on their own. Pin the ponytail to the back of the head and the jacket at the shoulders.
  • The flames are thin, glossy tongues meant for translucent resin. Handle them gently after curing.
  • The shield spikes, hair ornaments, belt chain and the small shield details are sharp and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
