IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 21 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the white wolf goddess from a celebrated Japanese action game painted in an ink-brush style. She comes down a mossy rock slope toward you, forepaws on a twisted root at the front and hindquarters up on a ledge behind, head low with narrowed eyes. Red markings run over her face and body: a line down the muzzle through a ring on the forehead, strokes above and below the eyes, and curls and stripes along the shoulders, ribs and hips. Swept white plumes edged in black line work grow from her shoulders, wrists and hocks, and a tall crescent plume rises from the tail. On her back sits a green carved disc ringed by tongues of flame. A thick tree twists up from the back of the base and arches over the scene with three clumps of foliage, wrapped twice with a twisted rope hung with tassels and red paper zigzags. Behind her a large gray stone disc with a bite out of its edge stands on a pillar of stacked stone, a small blue carved disc leans at its foot, and roses and a white flower grow in the grass.

This listing is the 1:10 scale diorama, 280 mm tall on the studio's scale sheet. The miniature of the same scene is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 21 resin pieces in total.
  • Wolf, 5 pieces: the front half, the rear half, the tail plume and the two shoulder plumes.
  • Flame disc, 1 piece: the green disc in its ring of flame.
  • Scene, 15 pieces: the rock slope, root, trunk and stone pillar in eight sections, the tree canopy, the large stone disc, the small carved disc, the two rope loops and two roses.
  • 1:10 scale: 280 mm (11.02 in) tall, 211 × 160 mm (8.31 × 6.30 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The 1:10 base stacks from eight rock, root, trunk and pillar sections. Build it square first: the wolf bridges two of them, a forepaw on the root and a hind paw on the ledge.
  • The tree canopy reaches out over the scene from the top of the trunk. Pin it.
  • The seam between the wolf's front and rear halves crosses smooth white fur. Plan to fill and sand it.
  • Thin parts: the flame tongues, the rope tassels and paper zigzags, the roses and the edges of the plumes.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
