IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 87 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A playful fan-art statue of the red-haired warrior from a famous dark fantasy action game. She stands on a round base with both hands pressed down on top of her winged helmet, her head tipped to one side, a fall of red hair over one eye and her tongue poking out in a cheeky grin. The helmet has a slatted brim, knotwork panels and two white feathered wings. This is a bundle of two complete figures, one in each outfit, each on its own base, with the same pose, helmet and hair on both. In the battle dress she has a gold prosthetic arm with a leafy pauldron, a white fur collar over a crimson scarf, a sand-colored laced dress with leather straps, braided cords, a belt of gold plaques and long chains hanging down the front, and a deep red cape sweeping out behind her. In the casual outfit she wears a cropped studded leather jacket with pushed-up sleeves, a white tee with a torn hem, a studded choker and a long bead chain, dark flared trousers with buckled thigh straps and glossy black heels. Each base is a round plinth with a carved scroll band, topped with cracked stone, crawling roots, red roses, red crystals and small fungi.

What's in the kit

  • 87 resin pieces in total: two complete figures, one in each outfit, each on its own base.
  • Battle dress figure, 36 pieces: head, helmet with two wings, back hair and two side locks, bodice, waist, upper and lower dress, cape, two shoulder pieces, gold upper arm and forearm, two hands, two thighs, a knee piece, two lower legs with sandaled feet, belt, a bodice lacing piece, four small straps, two flower ornaments, the front chains and four back chains.
  • Battle dress base, 16 pieces: the round plinth, the stone top, three root pieces, three rock or crystal pieces, three rose clusters and five grass tufts.
  • Casual figure, 19 pieces: head, helmet with two wings, back hair and two side locks, neck and shoulder section, necklace, cropped jacket, white tee, midriff piece, trouser top, two flared trouser legs, two hands and two heeled shoes.
  • Casual base, 16 pieces: a second copy of the same base, with the same parts.
  • Tallest single piece: the cape on the battle dress figure, 144.8 mm (5.70 in) in the sculptor's file; on the casual figure, the right trouser leg, 83.0 mm (3.27 in). The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Round base: 92.1 × 92.1 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in) across in the sculptor's file. Each figure stands on its own base of this size.
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Both arms are raised to the helmet and meet it at the hands. Dry-fit both arms, the head and the helmet together before gluing anything at the shoulders.
  • The battle dress has many small parts: chain strands, four thin straps and small belt pieces. Handle them with care and keep tweezers handy.
  • The cape is a large, thin piece that flares out past the base behind her. Pin it at the shoulders.
  • Each figure has its own 16-piece base: the plinth, the stone top, roots, rocks, roses and grass. Build each base first so the feet land in the right places.
  • This is two separate builds. Each figure has its own helmet, wings and hair pieces, so keep the two sets of parts apart as you sort them.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
