Comic Book Winged Heroine Resin Garage Kit – Feathered Wings, Spiked Mace & Broken Stone Pedestal (Unpainted, 12 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 12 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the winged heroine from a long-running American comic book universe. She stands at rest on a broken stone pedestal, her right hand on the pommel of a spiked mace whose head rests in a heap of broken slab, her left hand on her hip and her left boot up on a raised block. Two large white feathered wings spread high and wide behind her, and her copper-red hair sweeps straight up off her head. She wears a green crop top with a gold collar and trim, green pants, a gold belt with a round red buckle and knee-high red stiletto boots. This kit has the unmasked head.
What's in the kit
- 12 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 7 pieces: head with the hair, torso, two arms, both legs as a single piece and two boots.
- Wings, 2 pieces: the left wing and the right wing, each a single piece.
- Mace, 1 piece: the spiked mace.
- Base, 2 pieces: the stone pedestal in two halves.
- Tallest single piece: one of the wings, 169.4 mm (6.67 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled size, so I don't list one.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The wings are large and stand well out from her back. Pin both into the torso.
- She stands on one flat boot and one stiletto heel on the raised block. Pin both boots into the base and into the legs.
- The mace meets her hand at the pommel and the broken slab at the ball. Dry-fit the figure on the base with the mace in place before gluing the arm.
- The pedestal comes in two halves. Glue and fill that seam first.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
