Anime Blindfolded Goddess Resin Garage Kit – Golden Spiral Hair, Dove & Rose Column in a Scallop Shell (Unpainted, 17 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 17 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the blindfolded goddess of love from a long-running monster anime and game franchise. She kneels on one leg on the broken top of a stone column, the other leg stepping down the front of it, with her right arm reaching up and out as a white dove lands on her hand and her left hand raised to her cheek holding a small pink bud. A white cloth blindfold is wound around her eyes, a small white feathered wing sits on each side of her head, and loops of twisted silver cord arc over it like a halo. Her golden hair falls in long wavy bangs and turns into a huge spiral coil banded with white ribbon that curls around behind her and down to the column. She wears a strapless ivory satin dress with a fitted bodice and a long front panel, open at the sides with thin straps and silver rings at the hips, and a long drape of the same cloth that winds around the column, with a dark choker, a silver lattice necklace, gunmetal bracers with scroll relief and knee-high armored greaves with open-toed sandal fronts. The base is a round cream-stone plinth with a band of carved glyphs and gold rope trim, an open glossy scallop shell, and a cracked, fluted column wound with thorned vines and deep red roses.
What's in the kit
- 17 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 12 pieces: head and hair in six pieces including the spiral coil and the cord halo, torso, two forearms, hips and legs in a single piece and two greaves.
- Dress, 1 piece: the skirt panel and the long drape.
- Dove, 1 piece.
- Base, 3 pieces: the round plinth, the scallop shell and the rose-covered column.
- Studio scale: 1:6 (from 3DMoon's store page for this model).
- Tallest single piece: the rose-covered column, 118.0 mm (4.65 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Round plinth: 107.8 mm (4.24 in) across in the sculptor's file. The shell on top of it is wider, 142.3 mm (5.60 in).
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The hair coil is three heavy sections that hang off the back of the head. Build it outward from the head, dry-fit every section and pin each join.
- The figure holds on by the kneeling shin on the column top and one foot near the bottom, with the hair above. Pin through both into the column.
- The plinth, shell and column decide where everything lands. Dry-fit them against the first photo and pin the column through the shell into the plinth.
- The dove, the cord halo and the hair ends are thin and delicate, and the seams across the ridged hair will need filling and re-scribing.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
