Anime Blonde Armored Swordswoman Resin Garage Kit – Planted Swords, Blue Crystals & Carved Drum Base, Two Complete Figures in Breastplate and Bodice (Unpainted, 95 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 95 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A bundle of two complete fan-art statues of the blonde sword-wielding heroine of a long-running fantasy anime franchise, one in each of her two outfits, each on its own base. She stands square to the viewer, her gauntleted left hand resting on the pommel of a long sword with a gold crossguard and a blue rune-lit blade, driven point-down into the ground in front of her. Her right arm hangs loose at her side. Her pale blonde hair is gathered into a braided bun with a dark blue ribbon, with a single lock standing up on top. She wears a high steel gorget with gold medallions, a white fur ruff, puffed blue-violet sleeves with gold piping, a steel waist plate with a glowing blue emblem wrapped in leather belts, two large riveted hip plates, and a long navy skirt over a white lace underskirt, with dark steel greaves and armored shoes. The base is a round drum with a carved scrollwork band, a rocky top, seven plain swords planted at angles around her and six clusters of blue crystal growing between them. The two figures are the same apart from the torso, head and hair: one wears a steel breastplate, the other a blue cloth bodice with white lapels and a small cross pendant. Each figure also comes with a second head, an alternate face with its own hair, that isn't shown in the photos; swap them as you like.
What's in the kit
- 95 resin pieces in total.
- Breastplate figure, 47 pieces: the torso with the steel breastplate, two heads (the face in the photos and an alternate face), each with its own front hair and back hair with the bun, plus its own full set of the shared parts below.
- Bodice figure, 48 pieces: the torso with the cloth bodice and lapels, two heads (the face in the photos and an alternate face), each with its own front hair and back hair with the bun, and the small cross pendant, plus its own full set of the shared parts below.
- Shared parts, in each figure: the body in 22 pieces (hips, two thighs, two lower legs with greaves, two armored shoes, two small knee plates, two arms, two arm plates, one of them the segmented vambrace, the gauntleted left hand, a small waist plate, the two hip plate stacks, the belts, the steel gorget, the fur ruff, the hair ribbon and the long sword), the skirt in 4 pieces (the upper skirt, the lower skirt with its lace hem, the front drape panel and the back cloth piece) and the base in 14 pieces (the round carved drum base, seven planted swords and six blue crystal clusters).
- Each figure is the size given here. Tallest single piece: the long sword, 172.2 mm (6.78 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Round base, one for each figure: 118.8 × 125.1 mm (4.68 × 4.93 in) across in the sculptor's file. The skirt and some of the planted swords reach out past its edge.
- Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The long sword runs from her left hand down into the base, so the hand, the arm and the socket in the base have to line up at once. Dry-fit them together and pin the blade.
- The hips, waist plate, belts, both hip plate stacks, both skirt pieces and the two cloth panels all stack around one joint. Dry-fit the whole midsection before gluing, and plan to fill the seams between the hip plates and the skirt.
- The seven planted swords and the long sword have long, thin blades that warp easily. Set the planted swords at the angles in the photos.
- The gorget, hair ribbon, knee plates and the bodice figure's cross pendant are tiny. Use tweezers, and keep the two figures' parts in separate trays: the torsos, heads and hair differ.
- Each figure has two heads with their own hair. Pin the head without glue if you want to swap them.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
