IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 13 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the blonde vampire soldier from a dark gothic action anime. She stands on a heap of broken rock and rubble, a huge cannon resting across her right shoulder with her gloved hand gripping the barrel, the bell-shaped muzzle pointing down to one side and the long tube running up behind her head. Her left arm turns into a mass of shadow tendrils that uncoil beside her, drop toward her hip and sweep up in long thorned arcs above her head, ending in a thin clawed hand. Her short, spiky blonde hair falls over one eye, with a spiked tuft at the back, and she gives a level, unimpressed look. She wears a short-sleeved red uniform jacket with a high collar, a row of dark buttons, two buttoned breast pockets and a shield badge, a dark belt with a gold buckle, a short red skirt, red thigh-high stockings with cut-out straps at the top, red gloves and slouched ankle boots. In the studio's painted design the cannon is gunmetal grey and the tendrils a deep glossy red.

What's in the kit

  • 13 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 8 pieces: head, main hair, fringe, the spiked back tuft, torso with the jacket, belt and skirt, two legs with boots, and the small right-arm piece.
  • Shadow arm, 3 pieces: the left arm root with the clawed hand and two long tendril arcs.
  • Cannon, 1 piece: the long cannon with its bell muzzle.
  • Base, 1 piece: the rubble base.
  • Studio size: 210 mm (8.27 in) tall, 100 mm (3.94 in) wide and 143 mm (5.63 in) long (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The cannon is long and thin with both ends hanging free over her shoulder. Pin it at the shoulder and where her hand meets the barrel.
  • The three shadow-arm pieces are thin, tapered tendrils reaching out into the air, and the upper arc crosses in front of the cannon. Fit the cannon first, then the tendrils, and pin each join.
  • Both legs are cut at the hip and carry the whole figure. Pin them into the torso and into the base.
  • The fringe and the spiked back tuft are tiny, thin parts. Take the supports off them gently.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
