IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 11 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

His right hand is raised beside his collar with the thumb and index finger touching in a ring, and his left forearm crosses his body just above the belt. A strand of gold beads loops twice around his left wrist, and a long strand of violet beads with small gold spacers hangs from it past his belt. He wears full gold armor: wide, flat-topped shoulder guards that stick out like wings, a tall collar with silver scroll inlays, flared forearm guards with silver leaf inlays, fingerless gauntlets with segmented plates, a winged silver buckle with a red oval gem, an armored skirt with a silver fleur-de-lis on the front panel, domed knee guards and gold boots. Pale blond hair falls in messy bangs over his eyes and fans out behind his shoulders in about a dozen long, tapering locks that hang past his elbows. What's in the kit

  • 11 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: the head, the front hair, the long back hair, the torso with collar and shoulder guards, the raised right arm, the left arm with the bead strands, the armored skirt and two legs in boots.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the stone lotus with its marble top, and the round stem and foot it sits on.
  • Tallest single piece: the long back hair, 117.7 mm (4.63 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • Stone lotus: 120.1 × 120.4 mm (4.73 × 4.74 in) across in the sculptor's file.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The back hair is the biggest figure piece, with about a dozen long locks that hang free and taper to points. Dry-fit it with both arms in place before gluing.
  • The figure stands on two slender legs and carries the head, armor and hair. Pin both legs into the lotus top and up into the skirt.
  • The raised fingers, the hair tips and the hanging violet bead strand are thin and fragile.
  • The lotus petals are cupped, and the shoulder guards and chest are large smooth panels that show support marks and seams under metallic paint.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
