IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 24 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the ice-wielding gold-armored knight from a classic anime about armored warriors, caught in a lunge with both arms thrust forward and his hands clasped, shouting. He wears full gold armor: a helmet with a green gem on the brow and tall curved side blades, rounded shoulder guards, a breastplate with a raised center plate, long bracers, a belted fauld, knee plates and greaves, over a royal-blue bodysuit that shows at the thighs. Long royal-blue hair streams back behind him, and a cape, white outside with a blue lining, billows out to one side and twists into a ribbon at the back. He stands on a cracked stone floor with rubble and drifted snow, in front of a broken fluted column capped with snow and small raised snowflakes. Translucent ice breaks out around him: two curved blades rising from the snow at the front, a cluster of jagged crystals at the foot of the column and a long wave of ice sweeping up past it.

What's in the kit

  • 24 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 15 pieces: the face, the helmet, the main hair, three smaller hair pieces (including two long locks), the armored chest, two shoulder guards, two bare upper arms, the forearm guards with the clasped hands, the waist and thighs, and two lower legs in greaves.
  • Cape, 1 piece: the cape.
  • Base, 8 pieces: the stone floor in two sections, the broken column and five ice pieces.
  • Tallest single piece: the cape, 114.1 mm (4.49 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • Main floor section: 148.6 × 112.8 mm (5.85 × 4.44 in) in the sculptor's file. The floor comes in two sections, and the cape and ice reach past it.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • This is a full diorama: the stone floor, column and ice are most of the resin, and the floor sections are heavy solid pieces.
  • The cape is a large thin curved sheet that hangs from the back. Pin it.
  • The ice blades, crystals and wave have thin edges and pointed tips, and the helmet's side blades, the shoulder-guard points and the two long hair locks are thin.
  • The clasped hands and both forearm guards are a single piece that has to meet both upper arms at once. Dry-fit before gluing; no pegs show in the renders.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
