IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 21 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

The kit has two raised fists, one wrapped in cyan flame and one bare; both are in the box, so you can swap them as you like. His hair is a crown of pink spikes over a short black undercut, his amber eyes sit under heavy angled brows with a small black mark under each, and his face shows a red cut across the forehead and a few spots of blood. He wears a dark blue-violet school jacket with red cuffs, a red hood bunched into a collar with two gold buttons, wide cropped trousers, black leggings and red high-top sneakers. The base is a slab of broken rock with tilted chunks of black asphalt striped with yellow lane paint, a red fire hydrant leaning out at one side and a fallen traffic light with green, yellow and red lenses at the front. What's in the kit

  • 21 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 12 pieces: hair, head, torso, two arms, the fist at his collar, two raised right fists (one wrapped in cyan flame, one bare), the trousers, two lower legs with sneakers and the red hood collar. Both raised fists are in the box; swap them as you like.
  • Flames, 5 pieces: five cyan flames that rise around his feet.
  • Street base, 4 pieces: the fire hydrant, the fallen traffic light, and the base in two halves.
  • Tallest single piece: the large flame behind his leg, 74.6 mm (2.94 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • Street base: 111.5 × 95.8 mm (4.39 × 3.77 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The hair is a crown of pointed spikes and the heaviest figure part. Pin the head. I print the hair hollow, so fill the small drain holes before priming.
  • The flames taper to thin tips, and two of them are tall and slim. Support them along their length.
  • The figure stands on two small lower-leg parts. Pin them into the trousers and into the base, and dry-fit the five flames around the feet before gluing. Both raised fists are in the box; pin the raised fist without glue if you want to swap them.
  • The street base comes in two halves; the seam crosses the flat asphalt and its yellow stripes, so fill it carefully.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
