Chibi Swordswoman in Round Glasses Resin Garage Kit – Curved Black Blade, Scarred Arms, Cream Flame Swirls & Slate Rock Base (Unpainted, 14 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 14 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the sword-wielding fighter in round glasses from a popular dark-fantasy school anime. She walks straight toward you mid-stride, one boot planted forward on the rock, her right hand holding a curved black blade low so it crosses in front of her legs and her left hand closed in a fist at her side. She has short, choppy near-black hair with a fringe that falls over round black wire-frame glasses, amber eyes and a flat, unimpressed expression. Raised, ridged scar texture is sculpted across both cheeks and in bands down both bare arms. She wears a dark charcoal sleeveless top with a high mock-neck collar, a tan belt with a silver buckle, slim dark trousers and gray ankle boots with low heels. The blade is single-edged and curved, black with a pale edge, on a white grip with a shaggy tassel at the guard. She walks across a long oval slab of broken dark slate, with two cream flame swirls curling up around her into thin horn-shaped points.
What's in the kit
- 14 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 8 pieces: the head with the face and most of the hair, a separate hair piece, the sleeveless top, the legs in trousers, two bare arms and two boots.
- Accessories, 2 pieces: the curved blade and the round glasses.
- Base, 4 pieces: the slate rock base in two halves and two cream flame swirls.
- Tallest single piece: the legs, 81.3 mm (3.20 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
- Rock base: 62.6 × 117.7 mm (2.46 × 4.63 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The round glasses are thin rings. They go on the face before the separate hair piece, which sits over the frames.
- The blade is thin along its whole length, and the flame swirls end in thin horn-shaped points.
- The head is the heaviest figure part and the figure stands on two small boots mid-stride. Pin the neck and both boots into the base.
- The rock base comes in two halves, so there is one seam through the slate to fill. Dry-fit the two flame swirls around her boots before gluing.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
