Chibi Winged Dark Lord Resin Garage Kit – Three-Tier Wings, Red Sword & Stone Staircase Diorama with Gargoyles, Skulls & Ghost Flames (Unpainted, 36 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 36 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the god of the underworld from a classic anime about armored zodiac warriors, standing at the top of his stairs in winged black armor. Feet planted apart, he looks down with large teal eyes under a heavy frown, his right hand holding a straight red-bladed sword low across his body and his left hand open at his side. His black hair rises into swept-back spikes, drops in two long locks over his shoulders and falls in one heavy mass down his back to below the knees. His armor is silver over black: a breastplate with a black bat-wing shape, a high collar, spiked arm cuffs, vambraces, a pointed waist plate with feather ornaments and segmented tassets, pointed knee guards and trimmed boots. Three tiers of wings spread from his back: a large black-and-silver upper pair, a small white pair at the shoulders and a spiny gray lower pair. The base is a full scene: three cracked stone steps rise to a landing between balustrades, with two horned gargoyles on round pedestals, five skulls and cyan ghost flames, all on a rough rock plinth.
What's in the kit
- 36 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 11 pieces: the head, four hair pieces, the torso, the waist armor, two arms and two legs.
- Wings, 5 pieces: the two large upper wings, the lower wing piece and the two small shoulder wings.
- Sword, 2 pieces: the sword and a small separate fitting.
- Base, 18 pieces: three stair sections, four rock plinth sections, two gargoyles, five skulls and four ghost flames.
- Tallest single piece: the back hair, 115.3 mm (4.54 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
- The largest wing piece is 105.0 mm (4.13 in) across in the sculptor's file.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- This is a big build: three stair sections and four rock plinth sections to line up, plus two gargoyles. Gaps in the rock fill easily; gaps across the flat stair treads and rails will show.
- The head and back hair are heavy and the figure stands on two slim legs. Pin both legs into the landing and the head to the torso.
- The three large wing pieces hang off the back. Pin them, and fit the wings before the back hair, which covers where they meet the body.
- The skulls, ghost flames and the small sword fitting are tiny pieces.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
