Anime Elf Mage Resin Garage Kit – Crescent Staff, White Capelet & Blue Magic Petal Cloud Base (Unpainted, 25 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 25 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the white-haired elf mage from a popular fantasy anime. She is caught mid-turn above a cloud of glowing blue magic petals, one boot over the cloud and the other leg bent up behind her, looking back over her shoulder at the viewer with a calm, slightly wary face. Both hands grip a long red staff that runs diagonally across the whole piece, its gold-capped end reaching out past the base on one side and its gold crescent head, set with a red orb and wrapped in a trailing red ribbon, rising above her shoulder on the other. Her long white hair is tied in two high tails that swing out sideways, and she has long pointed ears with small red teardrop earrings. She wears a white robe with a short capelet, gold piping on every hem, a gold clasp with a red stone at the throat, a black belt, gold cuffs with red stones, a black-and-white striped top that shows at the back, dark tights and brown buckled knee boots. The base is a low gray rock with tufts of grass and small blue flowers, under a large cloud of overlapping blue petals that rises in several curling arms around her legs.
What's in the kit
- 25 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 12 pieces: head, a small separate hair piece, the two long hair tails, torso, capelet, skirt, legs, two boots and two arms.
- Hands and staff, 4 pieces: the hand that carries the long staff shaft, the other hand, the staff's end cap and the crescent staff head.
- Base, 9 pieces: the rock-and-grass footing in two halves, the petal cloud in four sections and three small scene pieces.
- Studio size: 1:6 scale, 360 mm (14.17 in) tall, 234 mm (9.21 in) wide and 218 mm (8.58 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The figure meets the petal cloud at a single boot, with the raised leg and the long staff hanging out to the sides. Pin that boot into the cloud.
- The staff is a thin red rod in three parts, joined end to end and held in both hands. Pin the joins and fit it before the glue on the hands sets.
- The petal cloud comes in four large sections on a two-piece rock footing. Dry-fit all of them so the petal arms line up before gluing.
- A blue glaze over the petal cloud gives it a glow. The hair tips, ribbon tails and small flowers are thin.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
