IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the mustached knight whose strength peaks at noon, from a popular medieval-fantasy anime. He stands square on a rock slab with his right arm raised straight up, one finger pointing at the sky, his head tilted up and his chin out, while his left hand holds the haft of a huge axe whose crescent blade rests on the ground beside the base. He has swept-back orange-red hair, a short curled mustache and blue-green eyes. His gold plate armor is sculpted with scratches and dents: a high collar of radiating plates, fan-shaped chest plates, stacked plates at the waist and a riveted skirt split at the front over chainmail shorts, with chainmail sleeves, a plated forearm guard, a spiked gauntlet, ridged greaves and two long riveted coat tails that flare out below his boots. His big dished shoulder guards carry a pale crest on a blue field. The axe has a spear point, a round sun disc, a winged gold frame and a pale crescent blade. The base is a rock slab on a round dark drum with a cracked lava pattern, two bright yellow bands and a gold sun medallion with a lion's head on the front. What's in the kit

  • 18 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 12 pieces: head, torso, hips, armored skirt, two arms, two gauntleted hands, two legs and two shoulder guards.
  • Coat tails, 2 pieces: the two long riveted coat tails.
  • Axe, 1 piece: the giant axe.
  • Base, 3 pieces: the rock-topped drum in two halves and the sun medallion.
  • Studio size, full figure: 449.6 mm (17.70 in) tall to the raised fingertip, 184.0 mm (7.24 in) wide and 311.1 mm (12.25 in) deep with the axe (from the studio's scale image in the kit files).
  • Full figure base drum: 142.1 × 144.8 mm (5.59 × 5.70 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The raised arm and pointing hand stand at the very top of the figure. Pin the arm into the shoulder under the guard and the hand onto the forearm.
  • The axe is a separate long piece that sits in the left gauntlet and rests on the ground at the same time. Dry-fit the hand and the axe together before gluing.
  • The two coat tails are long, thin curved sheets that hang from the waist. Pin them at the top.
  • The base drum comes in two halves, with the seam crossing the yellow bands. Fill and sand it before painting.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
