IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 29 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the blonde, knife-wielding schoolgirl from a popular superhero anime. She stalks forward in a low lunge, front foot on a cinder block and back foot up on a broken slab with rebar, the blade of a knife held to her mouth while her other hand holds a syringe low. She wears a loose knit sweater over a sailor-collar uniform with a red neckerchief, a pleated skirt, knee socks and loafers, a dark scarf set with pale spikes, and a rig of tanks, canisters and braided hoses on her back, with vial holsters on both thighs. The base is a round plinth with a rubble street scene: cracked concrete, metal crowd barricades, a standing sign, curling smoke and a small seated chibi doll under a barricade.

What's in the kit

  • 29 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 10 pieces: head, front hair, two hair buns, torso, two arms, hips and thighs, and two lower legs with the socks and shoes.
  • Clothing, 3 pieces: skirt, spiked scarf and neckerchief.
  • Gear, 10 pieces: knife, canister bundle, two hose sections, two belt pouches, two thigh holsters and two vial sets.
  • Doll, 1 piece: the small seated chibi doll.
  • Base, 5 pieces: the round plinth and four scenery sections.
  • Base: the round plinth is 153.4 × 154.5 mm (6.04 × 6.08 in) across in the sculptor's file. Parts of the scenery reach past its edge.
  • Tallest single piece: a scenery section of the base, 117.4 mm (4.62 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She leans well forward over two feet at different heights. Pin both knees and both soles.
  • The base is five pieces to line up. Build and glue it first.
  • The hoses run between the canister bundle and the tanks on her back, so fit the torso, then the canisters, then the hoses.
  • The knife blade, syringe needle, hoses, vials and hair spikes are thin and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
