IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 17 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

He wears a glossy black bodysuit zipped to a high collar with molded chest plates, white armor over it (rounded shoulder guards with a sculpted circular emblem and lettering, segmented gauntlets, and knee-high boots with bolted ankle straps), black gloves, a white belt with a holstered sidearm and a flap pouch, and an olive pouch strapped to one thigh. What's in the kit

  • 17 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 12 pieces: torso with both shoulder guards, hips and legs, two boots, two heads (masked and bare face, both in the box), the hair, two forearms, the belt pouch, the thigh pouch and the holstered sidearm.
  • Rifle, 4 pieces: the rifle in four sections.
  • Base, 1 piece: the road slab base as a single piece.
  • Studio size, full figure: 430.9 mm (16.96 in) tall to the rifle tip, 282.8 mm (11.13 in) wide and 256.3 mm (10.09 in) deep (from the studio's scale image in the kit files). The rifle reaches past the base at both ends.
  • Full figure base: 227.1 × 169.6 mm (8.94 × 6.68 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The figure stands on two separate boots. Pin the boots to the legs and to the base. Both heads are in the box; dry-fit the hair on each and pin the head without glue if you want to swap them.
  • The rifle comes in four sections and rests on the gripping hand and the shoulder. Pin the sections together and fill the seams on its flat faces before painting.
  • The flat blade faces carry crisp sculpted markings. Keep sanding and filler off the lettering.
  • Thin parts: the hair spikes, the fingers of the hanging hand and the rod along the blade.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
