IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 15 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the teal-haired masked warrior from a famous supernatural sword-fighting anime. She stands barefoot in an easy pose, weight on one leg, one arm bent behind her head to grip the hilt of a katana that hangs down her back, the other hand raised beside her shoulder. A cracked ram skull with two curled horns sits on her head like a cap, and a red marking runs across her face under the eyes. She wears torn olive-green rags: a short top with a high ragged collar and a short wrap skirt with a tattered hem. The base is a round plinth with a cluster of dark rock spikes, a large bone monster skull half buried at the front, and ribs and vertebrae curling around the rim.

What's in the kit

  • 15 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 8 pieces: head, two hair pieces, torso, two arms and two legs.
  • Cloth, 3 pieces: the torn top and the skirt in two parts.
  • Sword, 1 piece: the katana blade.
  • Base, 3 pieces: the round rock-spike base with the monster skull, in three sections.
  • Tallest single piece: one leg, 155.9 mm (6.14 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands taller once the base, torso and head are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The base comes in three sections and her feet land on two different levels of rock. Glue the base first, then dry-fit the legs before fixing anything.
  • The katana blade is long and thin and seats into the raised hand behind her head. Pin it at the hilt.
  • The back hair is a large piece that hangs off one side of the head. Pin it.
  • The hip and leg joins sit on bare skin below the skirt hem, so fill and sand them before you paint. The skirt edges, hair tips and rock spikes are thin.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
