IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 7 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the calm red-haired agent from a famous dark action anime. She stands square to the front with one foot up on the top tier of a dark plinth, one arm raised holding a rough wooden cross trailing iron chains and the other reaching out and down with the hand open. Her hair is cut in a bob with a straight fringe and a long braid down her back, and her gold eyes are ringed. She wears a white shirt with buttoned cuffs, a loose dark tie, close-fitting high-waisted trousers with pressed seams and laced shoes. The base is a two-tier plinth with carved relief, ringed by glossy crimson tendrils that rise to her knees, with a saw bar jutting out on each side.

What's in the kit

  • 7 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 6 pieces: head, a separate hair piece, torso in the shirt and tie, the raised arm with the cross and chains, the open-hand arm, and the legs with both shoes in a single piece.
  • Base, 1 piece: the plinth with the tendrils and both saw bars.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 220.8 mm (8.69 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands taller once the torso, head and base are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Base: the base piece is 145.5 × 149.4 mm (5.73 × 5.88 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • Both shoes carry the figure into the plinth at two heights. Pin both.
  • The raised arm holds the cross and chains out at shoulder height. Pin that shoulder and fit the arm last, since the chains are the most fragile part.
  • The chains, the tendril points, the saw teeth and the spread fingers are thin and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
