IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 7 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

His right arm thrusts out toward the viewer with the fingers bent into a claw, and his left hand is raised beside his chest with two fingers held straight up together. He grins wide through clenched teeth, his green eyes wide open inside heavy dark rings, with a red character marked on his forehead and spiky red hair. He wears a dark gray woven tunic with mesh cuffs on the short sleeves, a thick pale woven shawl over one shoulder, and a wide stitched leather strap with a square buckle across his chest. Both heads are in the box: one with a crust of cracked sand armor flaking off his skin, and one with a clean face. Swap them as you like.

What's in the kit

  • 7 resin pieces in total.
  • Bust, 4 pieces: torso, two arms and the shawl.
  • Heads, 2 pieces: the head with the cracked sand-armor face and the head with the clean face.
  • Base, 1 piece: the display plinth.
  • Studio size: 122 mm (4.80 in) tall, 118 mm (4.65 in) wide and 100 mm (3.94 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' notes for this kit).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The right arm reaches straight out toward the viewer from the shoulder. Pin it.
  • The shawl drapes over one shoulder and down the front. Dry-fit it with the arms in place before gluing.
  • The spread fingers, the raised two-finger sign and the hair spikes are thin.
  • The paint carries this bust: skin, dark eye rings, the sand-armor crust and its cracks, woven cloth and leather.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
