IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 22 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the explosive, hot-tempered student hero from a hit superhero-school anime. He plants himself in a wide fighting stance on broken concrete and bricks, knees bent and weight low, with his right arm thrust out and a cluster of four-pointed starbursts going off at his hand, and his left fist clenched at his side. He grins through the fight, with a mass of spiky blond hair and blood at his hairline and mouth. His dark hero suit has a fine mesh texture and is torn open across the chest over a stapled wound, with red straps crossing the chest, gray metal blocks on the shoulders, a forearm covered in overlapping dark plates, a studded bracer on the other arm, red-and-green gloves, a green belt with grenade canisters at the hips, green drop-leg plates, faceted knee pads and black boots with red soles. The base is a two-tier red plinth with the show's sculpted logo on the front, topped with cracked concrete, bricks standing on end, splintered planks and rusty rebar. Both right hands are in the box: one made to hold the blast, and an open hand for showing him without it.

What's in the kit

  • 22 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 10 pieces: head, front hair locks, torso, legs, two boots, the plated right forearm, two right hands (one made to hold the blast, one open for building him without it) and the left fist.
  • Gear, 7 pieces: the studded bracer, two shoulder blocks, two knee pads and two thigh plates.
  • Blast effect, 1 piece: the cluster of starbursts for the outstretched hand.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the round plinth, the rubble pile, a separate piece of rubble and the sculpted logo plaque for the front of the plinth.
  • Studio size: 302.3 mm (11.90 in) tall, 192.8 × 199.6 mm (7.59 × 7.86 in) across, with the blast effect fitted (from Lion Realm's scale sheet).
  • Round plinth: 179.2 × 179.6 mm (7.06 × 7.07 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The figure stands on two separate boots on uneven rubble. Pin both boots into the legs and into the rubble, and build from the base up.
  • The blast effect is a lattice of long, thin rays on the end of the outstretched arm. Glue it last, or leave it and its hand unglued if you want to switch to the open hand. A glaze and gloss coat on the rays give it a glow.
  • Seven small gear pieces go on over the figure, the shoulder blocks under 20 mm. Dry-fit them against the photos.
  • Thin parts: the blast rays, the hair spikes, the forearm plate edges, the rebar and the splintered planks.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
