IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 16 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

He stands turned three-quarters to the viewer, one arm raised forward at shoulder height with the hand open and the fingers half-curled, the other arm low at his side holding a wavy, serpent-shaped sword angled out from his body. His straight, dark navy hair falls to his chin with a fringe over the brow, one eye is gold and the other teal blue, and the lower half of his face is wrapped in a white bandage. The white snake coils once around his neck and rises over his shoulder, head up, red-eyed, with fangs bared and a forked red tongue. He wears an open white coat with dark navy stripes that lifts out behind him in the wind, a navy uniform jacket with a white collar band and small gold buttons, a white belt, loose navy trousers gathered below the knee, white leg wraps and navy sandals. What's in the kit

  • 16 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 10 pieces: head, front fringe, torso with the striped coat, legs, two arms, two hands and two sandaled feet.
  • Snake and sword, 2 pieces: the white snake and the wavy sword.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the gold drum base, the pink swirl effect in two sections and the round medallion for the front.
  • Studio size: 298.56 mm (11.75 in) tall, 201.48 mm (7.93 in) wide and 184.56 mm (7.27 in) deep (from Lion Realm's slicer screenshot of the assembled model at 100% scale). The width includes the sword held out to one side.
  • Round base: 161.3 × 161.2 mm (6.35 × 6.35 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The swirl effect comes in two large sections that wrap around his legs. Dry-fit both halves on the base before gluing so the feet still land on the stone.
  • The wavy sword is very thin for its length and hangs from one small hand. Fit it last and pin the wrist.
  • The snake wraps the neck over the collar. Glue the head and fringe first, then fit the snake around them.
  • The swirl effect suits translucent pink resin. The snake's fangs and tongue, the sword guard and the fingers are delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
