IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 21 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

He faces straight out with his feet set wide on a mound of cracked rock, arms hanging low and angled away from his body, a sword in each hand pointing down and out to the side and a third sword clenched crosswise in his teeth. His left eye is shut with a vertical scar through it and his right eye glares out under a heavy brow; a black bandana covers his head, short green hair shows at the temples, and three gold drop earrings hang from one ear. He is bare-chested and heavily muscled, with a long stitched scar running diagonally across his chest. His dark kimono is pulled down to the waist, its top folded over a maroon sash and its skirt flaring wide, over a green ribbed belly wrap, with a long red cloth sweeping across the front and wrapped around one hand, and three scabbards (purple, crimson and white) tucked through the sash at his hip. What's in the kit

  • 21 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 12 pieces: head, bandana, bare torso, two arms, legs, two boots, the folded-down kimono top, the kimono skirt and two hanging sleeves.
  • Swords, 4 pieces: the three flaming swords and the scabbard set.
  • Base, 5 pieces: the flame-ring rock base in four sections and a small plug.
  • Studio size, full figure: 320.99 mm (12.64 in) tall, 375.29 mm (14.78 in) wide and 220.57 mm (8.68 in) deep (from Lion Realm's slicer screenshot of the assembled figure at 100% scale). The width is the two flaming hand swords, which reach well past the base on both sides.
  • Flame-ring base: 246.2 × 220.6 mm (9.69 × 8.69 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The two hand swords and their flames reach far out to each side and hang from the wrists. Pin both hands and both sword grips.
  • The full-figure base comes in four sections plus a small plug. Dry-fit them before gluing, then pin both boots into the rock; the whole figure stands on them.
  • The kimono top, skirt and two hanging sleeves meet around the sash. Fit them together before gluing the torso on, and fill the seams in the cloth.
  • Thin parts: the flame tongues on all three blades, the long hanging sleeve, the earrings and the scabbard tips. The flames and the base ring suit translucent purple resin.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
