IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 33 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 33 resin pieces in total.
  • White-haired elf, 14 pieces: head, bangs, two twin tails, torso, capelet, coat skirt, two arms, two hands with the staff shaft on one, two legs and the staff head.
  • Blonde elf, 17 pieces: head, bangs, back hair with the braided crown, two front braids, torso, two arms, two legs, robe skirt, a thin band, the backpack with bedroll, a strap, the book and the rope staff in two pieces.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the flagstone base and the travel trunk.
  • 1:10 scale: 173 mm (6.81 in) tall, 167 × 184 mm (6.57 × 7.24 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Two long, thin staffs: the white-haired elf's staff shaft is part of her right hand, and the blonde elf's rope staff trails out past the edge of the base with its looped head in the air. Handle both gently and pin the rope staff's two halves together.
  • Glue the trunk onto the flagstone base first, then seat the white-haired elf on it. The blonde elf stands behind on two sandaled feet; dry-fit both figures together before gluing so the backpack and staffs clear each other.
  • The backpack with bedroll is a heavy part on the blonde elf's back. Pin it to the torso.
  • The front braids, the strap, the hands and the staff tassel are tiny. Fit them last with tweezers.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
