Anime White-Maned Ninja on a Giant Red Toad Resin Garage Kit – Glowing Energy Sphere, Broken Shrine Gate & Rock Diorama (Unpainted, 1:10 Scale, 47 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 47 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art diorama of the white-maned, wandering ninja master from a famous ninja anime, standing on the back of a huge red toad. He plants a wide stance on the toad's back, body turned so the giant scroll on his back faces the viewer while he grins back over his shoulder. One hand is raised in front of his face with two fingers up; the other arm is thrown up behind him holding a glowing pale-blue energy sphere, with teal ribbons of energy spiraling off it and sweeping down past the toad. His long, spiky white mane falls past his waist, he wears a horned metal headband marked with a single character, and red lines run down from his eyes. He wears an olive-green top and trousers, a red sleeveless vest with a yellow disc on the shoulder, mesh at the wrists and ankles, a metal hand guard and red wooden sandals, and the scroll on his back is a large red cylinder with a white label and rope lashings. The warty red toad wears an indigo vest with a white rope sash, has a long pipe tucked in the sash and rests one hand on a short sword whose blade juts out past the base; its other hand is bandaged. Cream smoke curls around the toad, and the base is a mound of tan rock spikes over gray rubble with the broken pieces of a red shrine gate, a knife stuck in one beam, two throwing stars and a hanging paper lantern.
This listing is the full 1:10 scale diorama, 341 mm tall on the studio's scale sheets. The miniature of the whole scene and the bust of the ninja are sold as separate listings.
What's in the kit
- 47 resin pieces in total.
- Ninja, 12 pieces: head, two front hair locks, the long mane, torso with the vest, two arms, trousers, two feet with sandals, the cloth tail and the giant scroll.
- Toad, 16 pieces: head in three sections, body in seven sections, the underside, the hind feet, two hands, the short sword and the pipe.
- Base, 11 pieces: the rock base in eight sections, the broken shrine gate in two pieces and the lantern.
- Effects, 8 pieces: the energy sphere, the energy ribbons in three pieces and the smoke in four pieces.
- 1:10 scale: 341 mm (13.43 in) tall, 308 mm (12.13 in) wide and 254 mm (10.00 in) long (from the studio's scale sheets).
- Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Build from the bottom up: the eight rock sections, then the toad's fourteen head and body pieces, then the ninja. The joins have square pegs, but the seams on the toad cross smooth, warty skin and need filling.
- The ninja stands on the sloped back of the toad with the sphere and energy ribbons held out to one side. Pin his feet into the toad and the ribbons at both ends.
- The short sword is long and thin and juts out past the base, so fit it last. The pipe stem, the hair locks and the sandal straps are tiny.
- The 1:10 diorama is a large, heavy build. Pin the toad's body sections as well as gluing them.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
