IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 14 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the half-elf ranger from an animated fantasy series about a band of adventurers. She stands with one thigh-high boot planted up on the tallest stone and the other leg straight behind, a long dark wooden bow held low and level across her hips with an arrow under her fingers, her head turned with a raised brow and a small smirk. She has pointed ears, very dark hair swept back into a thick braid, and a teal feather with two barred cream feathers tucked behind one ear. She wears a fitted teal tunic with a high navy collar, a white fur pauldron on one shoulder, long sleeves under fingerless leather gloves, a wide stitched leather corset belt with silver buckles, a slung hip belt with a square buckle and a pouch, long teal tabard panels that curl at the ends, dark leggings and strapped reddish-brown thigh-high boots. A long leather quiver of arrows is slung across her back. The bow has hooked, cord-wrapped tips and a twisted rope string. The base is an oval plinth with a knotwork band, topped by two clusters of cracked mossy stone with climbing roots and a hollow log between them.

What's in the kit

  • 14 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head with the braid and feathers, upper body, waist with the belts, two forearms with gloved hands, two legs in their boots, and two tabard panels.
  • Accessories, 2 pieces: the bow with its rope string, and the quiver.
  • Base, 3 pieces: the oval knotwork plinth and two rock clusters.
  • Studio scale: 1:6 (from 3DMoon's store page for this model).
  • Tallest single piece: a leg, 144.0 mm (5.67 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • The bow spans 212.2 mm (8.35 in) in the sculptor's file.
  • Plinth: 110.4 × 87.3 mm (4.35 × 3.44 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The bow is long and its rope string is very thin, spanning tip to tip with nothing behind it. Handle it by the limbs, not the string, and expect careful support removal.
  • The bow has to meet both hands at once: one hand grips the riser and the other pinches the string. Dry-fit both forearms with the bow in place before gluing either.
  • Both boots land on the rocks, one high and one low. Dry-fit the two rock clusters on the plinth and pin both boots.
  • The two tabard panels are thin sheets with curled tails, and the feathers, fur tufts and arrow fletching are small sharp details.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
