IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 7 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the quick-witted heroine from a hand-drawn animated adventure film. She stands barefoot on a plain round plinth with her weight on one leg, her right hand raised beside her head drawing a few loose strands of hair through her fingers and her left hand relaxed at her hip. Her straight black hair falls in a heavy sheet to mid-thigh, with a blunt fringe across her brows. She wears a cream bandeau top with a wide pink band and a thin red stripe, a cream wrap skirt knotted at the front with a pink hem band and a long slit up one side, a chunky jade bangle on each wrist and jade drop earrings.

What's in the kit

  • 7 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 6 pieces: upper body with the head and arms, hips and legs with the skirt, the main hair, the loose strands for the raised hand, and two hands.
  • Base, 1 piece: the round plinth.
  • Studio size: 1:6 scale, 188 mm (7.40 in) tall, 73 mm (2.87 in) wide and 73 mm (2.87 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The loose hair strands are a very thin part that seats into the hair and threads through the raised hand. Test-fit before gluing.
  • Both hands are tiny parts; the wrist joins sit under the jade bangles.
  • The waist join is on a visible surface, so plan to fill and sand it.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
