IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 6 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the famous web-slinging masked hero from American superhero comics, perched on a rooftop chimney. He crouches low on the stone cap with his knees spread wide, both hands hooked over the front edge with the fingers curled, and his big round masked head tipped forward to look down over the drop. The mask is red, covered in raised black web lines that radiate from between the eyes, with large white eye lenses set in thick charcoal-gray frames. The suit is red over the chest, shoulders, outer arms, gloves and boots, all crossed with web lines, and blue at the back, sides, hips and thighs, with a black spider emblem on the chest, a larger one across the back, and a red belt band with black-outlined cells. The boots have gray sole rims and pebbled treads. The chimney has a thick cracked gray stone cap, a band of projecting stone blocks and a column of orange, brown and purple-brown bricks.

What's in the kit

  • 6 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 5 pieces: the masked head, the torso, two arms, and the legs as a single crouching piece.
  • Base, 1 piece: the brick chimney with its stone cap.
  • Height: 140.8 mm (5.54 in) tall on its base, measured from the sculptor's single-piece file of the finished figure.
  • Tallest single piece: the chimney and the legs, each 49.2 mm (1.94 in) in the sculptor's file.
  • Chimney base: 65.9 × 67.0 mm (2.59 × 2.64 in) across in the sculptor's file; the single-piece file of the whole statue is 71.0 × 81.6 mm (2.80 × 3.21 in) across, because the knees and head reach past the cap.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The head is the heaviest figure piece and leans out past the front of the chimney. Pin it to the torso.
  • Each arm meets the shoulder and hooks its fingers over the cap edge at the same time. Dry-fit the legs, torso and both arms on the chimney before gluing.
  • Seams on the red parts cross the raised web lines; re-scribe the lines after filling.
  • The fingers are sculpted separately and curl over the cap edge.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
