Video Game Chibi Red Wyvern Resin Garage Kit – Fire Breath Cloud, Mossy Rock Pillar & Three Arrows (Unpainted, 8 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 8 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the fire-breathing red wyvern from a hit monster-hunting action game. He stands on top of a flat rock pillar with three feet planted and one front foot lifted over the edge, wings raised and spread, tail curled up behind him, head dropped and turned with his mouth open in a toothy grin under a heavy, scowling brow and big round eyes. His head carries a layered crest of dark spiked plates, with ear frills behind the cheeks, rows of small scales down the neck, a line of spikes down the back and a spiked club at the end of the tail. The fire he breathes is a big rounded cloud that has already hit the ground in front of the pillar, with a tapering spire of flame reaching back up to his mouth. The base is a layered rock pillar capped with moss, on a ground slab with flat cobbles, broad-leaf plants and two rounded bushes, and three arrows stuck in the dirt around it.
What's in the kit
- 8 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 3 pieces: the wyvern's body with the head, legs and tail, and the two wings.
- Base, 2 pieces: the mossy rock pillar on its ground slab with cobbles, plants and bushes, and the fire cloud.
- Accessories, 3 pieces: three arrows planted in the ground.
- Studio size: 97 mm (3.82 in) tall, 125 × 110 mm (4.92 × 4.33 in) footprint, wings and tail included (from the studio's scale sheet).
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The wings mount on the back at the shoulders and are the only hanging parts. Dry-fit them and pin them if the joint is a flat contact.
- The fire cloud sits on its own flat pad in front of the pillar, with the flame spire reaching up to the open mouth. Place it before the wyvern goes on so the two line up.
- The three arrows are very thin shafts. Drill small holes in the ground for them if there are none.
- The wing membranes, the flame tips and the crest spikes are thin.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
