IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 30 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

Her black hair is pulled up into a tall wrapped column with long ribbons hanging down her back, and two long hair tails sweep out wide from her sleeves, one hung with jeweled medallions. She wears a black leather-look bodysuit with an open back and chain trim, a jeweled brooch at the collar, strapped sleeves, long white gloves with a lattice pattern, small discs on the legs, and ankle boots with a pistol fixed at the back of each heel. The base is a ruined stone plinth in three tiers: a carved scroll frieze at the bottom, a rubble wall with a cracked cherub face set into it, and a broken slab on top with fallen column sections.

What's in the kit

  • 30 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 16 pieces: head, glasses, three hair pieces (including the tall headpiece with its ribbons), torso, two sleeves with the long hair tails, two arm sections, two hands with their pistols, two legs and two boots.
  • Accessories, 8 pieces: the two heel pistols, four hair medallions and two leg discs.
  • Base, 6 pieces: the ruined stone plinth with the cherub face, in six sections.
  • Studio size: 1:6 scale, 355 mm (13.98 in) tall, 243 mm (9.57 in) wide and 253 mm (9.96 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She stands on two pointed heels, so pin through both boots into the base.
  • The two hair tails are large pieces that hang off the sleeves. Pin both.
  • The glasses are the smallest and most fragile part. Fit them last, after paint.
  • The base comes in six sections. Dry-fit them before gluing anything.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
