Video Game Red-Haired Swordswoman Resin Garage Kit – Crimson Greatsword, Gold Tiara & Flowing Black Cape (Unpainted, 30 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 30 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the red-haired, sword-wielding heroine of a popular Japanese role-playing game. She stands in a wide, braced stance on a round base, one arm flung out to the side with the gloved hand open and the fingers spread, the other hand gripping a huge crimson sword point-down so the blade angles out past her hip. Her head turns toward the open hand, mouth open as if calling out. She has a short red bob with side bangs and a gold tiara set with a teal gem. She wears a red short-sleeved armored suit with black hex-mesh panels, gold trim, teal piping and a green gem at the chest, cut away at the sides of the waist; red shorts with a gold buckle and a hanging strap; black fingerless gloves and a bandaged forearm; red thigh-high leggings; and red boots with gold edging and teal diamonds. A black cape edged in glowing teal sweeps out behind her in two long lobes. The base is a plain textured disc.
What's in the kit
- 30 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 12 pieces: head, front hair, back hair, torso in the armored suit, hips with the shorts, two legs, two boots, two arm sections and the open hand.
- Armor and details, 14 pieces: the tiara, four armor plates, three gems, two small fin pieces and four hip straps.
- Sword, 1 piece.
- Cape, 2 pieces.
- Base, 1 piece: the round disc.
- Tallest single piece: one lobe of the cape, 114.1 mm (4.49 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Round base: 116.1 × 116.0 mm (4.57 × 4.57 in) across in the sculptor's file.
- Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The sword is long and held point-down from one hand, with its tip reaching out past her hip. Pin it through the hand.
- The cape comes as two long, thin lobes that hang off her back. Pin each one at the shoulders and fit them after the torso and arms.
- Her feet are planted wide apart on the base. Pin the boots to the legs and into the disc.
- Fourteen small armor plates, gems, straps and trim pieces go on last, with tweezers. The four hip straps are thin curved strips.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
