IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 13 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the white-haired combat android from a cult action role-playing game. She stands with her weight on one leg, looking out past the viewer with her long white hair blowing out to one side and a lock falling over one eye. One gloved hand holds a long black blade point-down at her side, and a huge flat sword with a wrapped hilt hangs across her back, reaching from above her shoulder to below her knee. She wears a black sleeveless top with an armored band at each shoulder, long black opera gloves, short black shorts with a torn wrap at the hips, torn black thigh-high stockings with pale armor plates showing through, and open-toe black heels. The base is a round, two-tier mechanical platform in near-black with panel lines and notches around the rim.

What's in the kit

  • 13 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head, front hair, back hair, chest, waist, two arms, the hips with the left leg, and the right leg.
  • Swords, 3 pieces: the large back sword in two sections and the long blade held in her hand.
  • Base, 1 piece: the round two-tier platform.
  • Tallest single piece: the main blade of the back sword, 150.7 mm (5.93 in) in the sculptor's file. The tallest figure piece is the hips with the left leg, 145.5 mm (5.73 in). The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Round platform: 113.7 × 114.1 mm (4.48 × 4.49 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The back sword comes in two sections that join end to end and then mount on her back. It is long, flat and thin; pin both joins.
  • The back hair is the second-heaviest piece and hangs off the head to one side. Pin it at the head.
  • The long hand blade is very thin for its length. Take it off the supports gently.
  • The arms join at the shoulder, where the armored shoulder band gives a natural seam line.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
